Laurie Frick: Even more complicated than it looks!

((this gets me excited for my stop motion film for undulating thumbs
Andrew is still in the process of writing an original piece of music for it!!))

Executive in high-technology turned artist, Laurie Frick creates these insane installations out of paper, magazines, wood, and cardboard. She uses  EEG readings (recordings of electrical activity along the scalp caused by neuron firings in the brain) as a sort of formula with which to draw. UNBELIEVABLE. I love that she makes something so seemingly intangible and draws with it.

The tag on her website says "a thin line between art and neuroscience." I'll say.
